As part of the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology's (GSO) continuing education curicculam, each year it hosts two meetings that offer ophthalmologists live CME opportunities. The GEM Eye Meeting began in 2009 as a way to bring eye care professionals and specialists from around the state and region together to learn, collaborate and develop professionally. The meeting is hosted by the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology (GSO), Emory Eye Center & Emory University School of Medicine, and the Department of Ophthalmology, and Medical College of Georgia (MCG) at Augusta University.

In addition to the CE track for ophthalmic techs, the GEM Eye Meeting offers a CME track for ophthalmologists. Click HERE for additional information about the physician track.
